Week 6 of the NFL season wrapped up after a week full of good a bad performances. Week 6 kicked off last Thursday night with the San Francisco 49ers visiting the Seattle Seahawks and almost blowing a lead but held on and won, Sunday featured many good games and even an embarrassing loss for the Dallas Cowboys to the Detroit Lions, later that night the Cincinnati Bengals traveled to MetLife Stadium to play the New York Giants and won in a low scoring affair, then on Monday night the Bills also traveled to MetLife Stadium but to play the New York Jets where the Bills hung on to a 3 point lead at the end to win the game. Now let’s take a look at the worst and the best performances.

The Worst

At number three is Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis, who had a very poor performance in the loss to the Indianapolis Colts.

Levis completed 16 passes on 27 attempts for 95 yards, 3.5 yards per attempt, 1 touchdown and 1 interception. This performance is part of the reason they came up short and lost to the Colts due to the low number of yards and the interception.

In all fairness to Levis the Colts converted nearly half of their 3rd down attempts with 7/15, and the Titans only converted 4/11, and the Titans had 11 penalties for 113 yards while the Colts had 5 for 40 yards, so Levis’ team was much less disciplined meaning not every single thing was his fault and some decent plays were negated by penalties.

At number two is Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker who was shut down by the 49ers defense.

Walker had 14 rushing attempts for only 32 yards, 2.3 yards per carry and 1 touchdown. This performance is most definitely the reason the Seahawks lost because in the past he has been the reason they win games, when he’s on point, the Seahawks win.

In all fairness to Walker, the Seahawks offensive line was tasked with going up against the strong defensive line of the 49ers, and he couldn’t get more rushing attempts to try and get himself going because the Seahawks found themselves down fairly big early on and were forced to pass.

At number one is Cowboys QB Dak Prescott, who had one of the worst performances he’s had in a long time in a big game before the bye week.

Prescott completed 17 passes on 33 attempts for 178 yards, 5.4 yards per attempt, 0 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. While the Cowboys have already been struggling this year they’ve had to heavily rely on Prescott and wide receiver CeeDee Lamb to be great, and Prescott was the opposite in this important game.

In all fairness to Prescott the receivers haven’t done him any favors, ranking last in the league in separation, and there were multiple key injuries on the defense which makes sense as to why the Lions scored 47 points, but when there’s a lot of defensive injuries and not that many on offense you should be able to score more points than 9.

The Best

At number three is Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin, who had a great performance to propel the team to a blowout win over the New Orleans Saints.

Godwin had 11 catches for 125 yards and 2 touchdowns, this was a great performance and really did help the Buccaneers a lot due to Mike Evans having a poor performance which typically happens when they play the Saints.

Godwin has been great this season and maybe even better than the number one receiver on the team Evans, but that doesn’t mean Evans has been bad, as long as the Buccaneers have Godwin to pair with Evans the offense is going to be deadly.

At number 2 is Green Bay Packers QB Jordan Love, who had a great performances in the blowout win over the Arizona Cardinals.

Love completed 22 passes on 32 attempts for 258 yards, 8 yards per attempt, 4 touchdowns and 1 interception, he also had 5 rushing attempts for 13 yards, this was a a great performance in his third week back from his injury after the last two weeks he had been decent, so he’s now showing that he’s really back into the swing of things and ready to roll.

Love has been everything the Packers could’ve asked for after moving on from Aaron Rodgers and as long as he continues to play great the Packers are going to continue to be competitive and go on playoff runs.

At number one is Chicago Bears QB Caleb Williams, who had yet another good week and is proving people who doubted him wrong, and becoming exactly what the Bears wanted when they drafted him with the first overall pick.

Williams completed 23 passes on 29 attempts for 226 yards, 7.8 yards per attempt, 4 touchdowns and 1 interception, he also had 4 rushing attempts for 56 yards. This was a great performance in the international game in London.

Williams is continuing to get better and better every week, and the Bears are set up very well for him to continue to succeed, safe to say the future is bright in Chicago.
